Senior Maintenance Manager

Nexus are currently supporting a nationally recognized food and beverage brand, in their search to bring in a Sr. Maintenance Manager to lead the facility maintenance function at one of their bakery sites.

This is a rare opportunity to join an iconic brand with a strong reputation both as an employer and in the market, during a period of rapid growth. The site produces at serious scale, and this role owns the strategic direction for the maintenance team, driving asset management, safety, and continuous improvement across the plant. It's a hands-on leadership role, developing the team while also owning preventive maintenance, utilities, and process safety for the facility.

Responsibilities:

• Lead strategic direction and development for the facility's Maintenance team
• Own the asset management program, covering utilization, replacement, upgrades, and maintenance tracking
• Lead capital and expense driven projects, partnering cross functionally across the site
• Drive safety, quality, and continuous improvement programs across the plant, including Process Safety Management (PSM)
• Manage the site's energy and utilities usage, including gas, electricity, and water

Qualifications:

• 5+ years in a maintenance or engineering role, plus 5+ years leading and coaching teams
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field preferred
• Strong background in strategic planning and continuous improvement
• Working knowledge of regulatory compliance (OSHA, FDA, EPA)
• Ideally from a Food & Beverage background
