POSITION SUMMARY
The Regional Service Manager is responsible for overseeing the installation, maintenance, and repair of equipment and systems at customer locations within the assigned region. This role ensures operational excellence by managing a team of service technicians, fostering a culture of safety, quality, and customer satisfaction. This position requires a blend of technical knowledge, leadership ability, and financial acumen to drive operational success and customer loyalty.
ESSENTIALFUNCTIONS
- Team Leadership & Development
:
Guide and support service technicians, supervisors, and administrative staff, fostering a high-performance culture focused on safety, quality, and continuous improvement. - Customer Relationship Management
:
Maintain strong working relationships with key regional customers, serving as a trusted point of contact for service-related needs and escalations. - Operational Oversight
:
Ensure efficient scheduling, resource allocation, and execution of service activities in alignment with company standards and customer expectations. - Strategic Planning & Budgeting
:
Develop and manage regional service strategy and budget to support business objectives and growth initiatives. - Financial Management
: - Monitor and manage the regional service
Profit & Loss (P&L) statement to ensure financial health and identify areas for improvement. - Oversee approvals and/or approve service invoices to ensure accurate billing practices.
- Support collections of Accounts Receivable (AR) to maintain cash flow and reduce outstanding balances.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration
: - Partner with reginal sales staff, national service team, and other departments to align service delivery with broader business goals.
- Provide regular updates to leadership on team performance, customer feedback and strategic initiatives.
- Two years technical school or equivalent experience required, bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Previous leadership experience in a service environment.
- Previous field service work in technical area desired.
- Valid driver’s license?
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Adaptability to changing priorities.
- Ability to multitask and manage competing demands.
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Self-starter with a high degree of initiative and independence.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Applications. (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
