Inventory Manager; Furniture

Advanced Personnel Resources is partnering with a client in the High Point area seeking an Inventory Manager (Furniture).

This will be Temp to Hire or possibly Direct Hire for the right candidate

• Monday–Thursday: 6:30 AM – 4:15 PM
• Friday: 6:30 AM – 10:30 AM

$65,000–$70,000 annually

The Inventory Control Specialist is responsible for maintaining accurate inventory records and ensuring proper inventory flow from receipt of materials through finished goods. This role plays a critical part in supporting production, audits, and overall operational efficiency.

• Ensure inventory accuracy across all materials and finished goods
• Receive delivered inventory into the Sys Pro ERP system using purchase orders, verifying correct item numbers and quantities
• Inspect incoming inventory for damages and communicate any issues to suppliers
• Process weekly kitting and work-in-process (WIP) inventory transactions in EMR system
• Generate and complete daily cycle counts
• Ensure all major inventory adjustments are reviewed and approved by plant leadership
• Maintain accurate bin locations and confirm physical inventory matches system records
• Develop and recommend process improvements to strengthen inventory controls from raw materials through shipment
• Support the controller during the annual audit process

• Prior experience in inventory management (furniture or manufacturing industry preferred)
• Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
• Experience working with ERP systems

• Furniture industry knowledge
