Job Overview:

We are seeking a dependable and safety-focused Baler Operator to join our operations team. The Baler Operator is responsible for operating and maintaining baling equipment to compress recyclable or waste materials into compact bales for storage and transport. The ideal candidate has mechanical aptitude, follows safety procedures, and works well in a team environment.

Key Responsibilities

* Operate baler equipment according to company safety standards

* Load cardboard, plastic, paper, or other materials into the baler

* Monitor machine performance and adjust settings as needed

* Tie, wrap, and label finished bales

* Inspect bales for proper density and quality

* Maintain a clean and organized work area

* Perform routine inspections and basic maintenance on equipment

* Report on mechanical issues or safety concerns promptly

* Assist with general warehouse duties as needed

Skills /

Qualifications:

* High school diploma or GED preferred

* Previous experience operating balers or similar heavy equipment preferred

* Forklift certification (or willingness to obtain)

* Basic mechanical knowledge

* Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and stand for extended periods

* Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety
