Vishay Dale Electronics– Columbus, NE is currently seeking applicants for a Quality Inspector 1st Shift (Monday–Friday). Overtime is available as needed. Responsibilities include performing sample resistance tests and sample visual inspection of all resistor types.

Vishay Dale Electronics, Columbus, NE is one of the world’s largest manufacturers of resistors and e-beam technology. There are around 600 employees currently working in Columbus, NE. We are one of the largest employers in the Columbus Area.

Performs dimensional and visual inspection of tooling orders and production material received from manufacturing operations. Conducts inspections utilizing precision measurement equipment, blueprint interpretation, and inspection systems to ensure compliance with engineering drawings, specifications, and customer requirements. Supports production flow by prioritizing inspection workload in a high-volume manufacturing environment with changing operational demands. Independently evaluates product acceptability, documents inspection results, and communicates quality concerns to production, engineering, and supervision.

• High School Diploma or equivalent required. Manufacturing, machining, tooling, inspection, or quality-related experience preferred. Previous experience reading engineering drawings and using precision measurement equipment preferred.
• Familiarity with GD&T concepts is preferred. Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to learn technical inspection processes required. 2–4 years of related manufacturing or inspection experience preferred.
