** Production Line Lead*
* ** Role Overview
** Ensures that all production machinery is operated in a safe and efficient manner.
** Day-to-Day Responsibilities
*** Operates production machinery as required.
* Monitors equipment for proper operation, changes equipment as required, and informs maintenance mechanics of any mechanical problems.
* Serves as first level of defense for production floor problem solving, before escalating to Supervisor.
* Communicates to Supervisor any production floor issues.
* Acts as back-up for Production Technicians.
* Serves as a resource for production technicians to resolve questions and technical issues.
* Oversees production line operations during absence of Production Supervisor.
* Understands and follows PQI standards.
* Other duties as assigned.
** Required Qualifications
*** A High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
* Two (2) years of related field experience working in a high-speed manufacturing environment preferred.
* Forklift experience preferred.
* Mechanical ability, manual dexterity, physical stamina and reading comprehension skills required.
* Must demonstrate time management, attention to detail, problem-solving skills, strong oral and written communication skills.
* Must be able to use a personal computer for data entry.
* Must be able to successfully complete the forklift certification.
* Must be able to work hours necessary to complete assigned tasks.
