The Manufacturing Engineer will support production operations and continuous improvement efforts within a complex manufacturing environment. This role focuses on evaluating and optimizing manufacturing processes, troubleshooting production issues, supporting new product introductions, and driving improvements in safety, quality, delivery, productivity, and cost. The successful candidate will develop ROI‑driven capital improvement proposals, collaborate with equipment vendors and suppliers, and support fabrication and assembly operations.
Strong problem‑solving skills, a hands‑on manufacturing mindset, and experience with Lean Manufacturing or continuous improvement methodologies are preferred.
- Minimum 5 years experience in process improvement, capital project, and manufacturing support
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field (preferred)
- Background in heavy industrial/engineered manufacturing supporting complex assemblies, fabrication, and production systems (preferred)
- Exposure to mechanical assembly, structural, welding, and piping (preferred)
- Experience independently developing ROI analyses and presenting business cases for approval
- Experience with design software
- Automation and robotics knowledge strongly preferred
