Our client, a leader in metal fabrication and manufacturing, is seeking a Press Brake Operator to join their team. As a Press Brake Operator, you will be part of the manufacturing department supporting production and quality assurance teams. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully in the organization.

Location:

Archdale, NC

Pay Range: $22/hr

Shift: 1st Shift: 6am-4:30pm M-TH, possible OT on Fridays

What's the Job?

• Operate press brake machinery to bend and shape metal components according to engineering specifications.
• Interpret blueprints and technical drawings to ensure parts meet required dimensions and tolerances.
• Utilize measurement tools such as micrometers and calipers for precise quality control.
• Assemble components as needed, employing welding techniques when required.
• Perform routine maintenance on press brake equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety.

What's Needed?

• Proven experience as a Press Brake Operator or in a similar manufacturing role.
• Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to read engineering drawings.
• Familiarity with tooling setups and adjustments for various bending tasks.
• Proficient in using measuring tools such as micrometers and calipers.
• Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a safety-conscious mindset.
