Paint Technician

Responsibilities:

+ Apply powder coating and wet spray paint to manufactured parts according to production specifications.

+ Mix paint and prepare coating materials to achieve proper color, consistency, and finish quality.

+ Mask and protect designated areas of parts before painting.

+ Wash and prepare parts prior to the painting process to ensure proper adhesion and finish quality.

+ Load and unload parts from the paint line while maintaining production flow.

+ Inspect finished products for quality, consistency, and compliance with customer specifications.

+ Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area while following all company safety procedures and documentation requirements.

Requirements:

+ Previous experience as an Industrial Painter, Powder Coater, Spray Painter, or Paint Line Operator preferred.

+ Ability to stand, bend, twist, reach, and perform physical work throughout the shift.

+ Ability to frequently lift and move materials weighing up to 30 pounds.

+ Ability to read work orders, follow written instructions, and complete basic production paperwork.

+ Strong attention to detail and ability to perform visual quality inspections.

+ Good hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity to safely operate painting equipment and tools.

+ Must be able to pass a Respirator Fit Test and Spirometry (Respiratory) Test required for work involving paint and coating materials.
