We're looking for hardworking individuals to join our production team, assembling foam-filled mats and padding used in gymnastics, athletics, cheerleading, wrestling, and other sports applications. This is a hands-on manufacturing role where you'll help create the protective equipment athletes use every day. The position involves inserting, fitting, trimming, and assembling foam into mat covers and other athletic products while maintaining quality standards.
WhatYou’ll Do
- Assemble foam mats, landing pads, and athletic padding products.
- Insert and position foam core into vinyl and fabric covers.
- Measure, align, and fit foam components to product specifications.
- Use hand tools and production equipment to assemble and finish products.
- Inspect products for quality, appearance, and proper construction.
- Follow work instructions, production schedules, and safety procedures.
- Move materials and finished products throughout the production area.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace.
- Manufacturing, assembly, warehouse, construction, upholstery, or other hands-on experience preferred.
- Ability to use hand tools and read a tape measure.
- Strong attention to detail and quality.
- Team-oriented mindset with a reliable work ethic.
- Ability to work efficiently in a production environment.
- Willingness to work overtime as needed.
- This is a physically demanding position.
- Frequent lifting, pushing, pulling, bending, reaching, and carrying throughout the shift.
- Regular handling and maneuvering of large foam pieces and athletic mats.
- Continuous standing and walking during the workday.
- Repetitive hand and arm movements while assembling products.
- Ability to lift and move bulky materials in a team environment.
- Non-climate-controlled manufacturing facility.
- Must be comfortable working in hot conditions during the summer and cooler temperatures during the winter.
- Fast-paced production setting with daily production goals.
- Active, hands-on environment where employees are moving and working throughout the shift.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Lincolnton, NC.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $17.00 - $17.00/hr.
