Material Handler - Mattress Manufacturing

Winston-Salem, NC
Pay:$16 per hour

Shift: 7:00 AM-4:30 PM

We are hiring a dependable

Material Handler for a mattress manufacturing facility. This position supports production by moving, measuring, organizing, and supplying mattress materials throughout the facility.

Responsibilities

• Move and organize foam, fabric, springs, and other mattress materials.
• Supply production lines with the correct materials.
• Readlottags, work orders, and production instructions accurately.
• Measure materials using basic measuring tools.
• Safelyoperatebasic hand tools.
• Load, unload, and transport materials within the facility.
• Verify material types and quantities before production.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.

Requirements

• Previous manufacturing or warehouse experience preferred.
• Experience handlingmattressesor furniture materials is a plus.
• Basic knowledge of hand tools and measuring tools.
• Ability to read lot tags and work orders.
• Ability to lift
  30-50 pounds throughout the shift.
• Strong attention to detail and basic math skills.
• Dependable and comfortable working in a fast-paced production environment.
