Mechanical Coordinator

ABCO is looking for an entry level mechanical coordinator. Our ideal candidate would be a recent Mechanical Engineering graduate who is looking to get their foot in the door with a growing Automation Design and Integration company. In this role the coordinators work to ensure on-time delivery and that customer specifications are met within cost and quality objectives. Specifically, this role will focus primarily upon the mechanical scope of Build to Print projects.

• Ability to read mechanical and pneumatic drawings. Can evaluate and source mechanical components.
• Plans & coordinates the production of parts and assemblies working with Build-to-Print, manufacturing, and outside vendors. Assures optimum production, quality, and delivery.
• Communicates effectively with BTP mechanics/electricians, customers, and suppliers
• Develop and maintain customer relationships that promote sales and company growth.
• Effectively coordinates multiple jobs to ensure cost budgets and schedules are met
• Works with vendors for outside services and components in order to meet customer specifications and minimize costs.
• Work is free from errors or omissions with attention to detail.
• Works to ensure that actual costs do not exceed budgeted costs.
• Assists quotation effort to accurately estimate and win new business.
• Assists with the development of procedures and process flows to minimize costs, improve quality, and improve deliveries.
