Description of Work Pineview serves men and women with varying levels of IDD. Person-centered programs focus on reducing the rate of loss of skills that accompany the physical aspects of the aging process and maintaining independence.

The primary purpose of this position is to provide direct clinical services and medication and treatment administration. This LPN performs and documents nursing procedures and techniques as prescribed by the physician and outlined in the Person-Centered Plan. This LPN performs duties under the supervision of a Registered Nurse. This LPN works with the RN in planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care.

This Position Is Designated As Mandatory And Must Report Or Stay Over During Adverse Weather Events.

/Management Preferences Recruitment Range: $41,407.00 - $62,111.00

The Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)/ Management Preferences are not required. Applicants who possess the following skills are preferred:

Must be licensed to practice as a registered nurse in North Carolina or in a participating Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) state. See the North Carolina Board of Nursing (NCBON) website for a list of participating states  candidate must be able to pass Healthcare Provider CPR and Non-Violent Crisis Intervention (NVCI) written and physical requirements as a condition of employment.

Successful candidate must have a valid Driver License.

This Position Is Exempt And Is EXEMPT From Certain Provisions Of The State Human Resources Act (GS 126)

This is a full time position and eligible for the full state benefits package including Health Insurance, paid sick/vacation/holidays,retorement, etc.

Scheduled work hours/shift : 1st shift - The normal working hours/shift:
Weekends 36/48 (Two-week schedule); 6;30a-7p-12 hour shifts(36/48 hour weekly rotation). Week one:
Friday/ Saturday/ Sunday/Monday. Week two:
Friday/ Saturday/Sunday or Friday /Saturday/ Sunday 36 hour week( Permanent - Part Time option) Schedule adjustments as needed/requested.

* Eligibility for Sign-on Bonus
* To qualify for the Sign-on Bonus, a newly hired permanent full-time or permanent part-time employee must work 30 to 40 hours per week to be eligible. Those who are eligible and working less than 40 hours a week will receive a prorated rate.

An employee is not eligible for a sign-on bonus if:

The employee has held a position in the North Carolina State government, including the judicial system, or the University of North Carolina system, within the last 12 months (the employee shall remain ineligible for 12 months from the separation date)
The employee has previously received a sign-on bonus from any State agency

DHHS has paid any contract placement or recruitment fees.
