Summary of JobThe Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) position works under the supervision of an RN and as part of a multi‑disciplinary clinical team. The LPN identifies medical needs and alerts the RN or Physician of medical concerns.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities- Guest Care & Advocacy – Provides education regarding diabetic care, psychiatric medication and other medical needs to enhance individual health and wellbeing.
- Coordinates care including assisting individuals with making medical and/or other provider appointments as needed.
- Assists with intake process and collection of blood or urine specimens, arranging transport to lab.
- Monitors care of individuals, including medication monitoring under RN supervision; oversees medication records as per policy and state regulations.
- Completes clinical documentation as required; maintains compliance with federal and state regulations and Recovery Innovations policies.
- Collaborates cross‑functionally providing support to Medical Assistants and other staff, including treatment and discharge planning.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.

- Education / Licenses:
- Graduate from an accredited LPN program.
- Maintain current and valid LPN license.
- Experience:
- Minimum 1 year in a behavioral health setting.
- Knowledge of psychiatric medications and their indications and side effects.
- Ability to work with agitated guests in crisis and families to implement behavioral management interventions.
- Skills:
- Basic computer skills.
- Attention to detail, problem solving, and effective communication.
- Excellent clinical documentation.
- Must pass state‑required de‑escalation training.
- Driving Requirements:
- If driving is required, must meet Recovery Innovations driving policy.
- Non‑driver attestation required if not meeting policy.
- Miscellaneous Requirements:
- Must be at least 18 years old (or 21 in certain states).
- Travel per business need.
- Maintain confidentiality per HIPAA and professional standards.
- Complete credentialing process.

Employer:- Background check, substance abuse testing, education verification, fingerprinting, and vehicle report as applicable.
Work close to the eyes; substantial wrist, hand, and finger motions; frequent sitting, standing, walking, and handling; eye‑hand‑foot coordination; corrected vision may be required; color vision; use of auditory senses; may need to lift up to 25 lb.
Work EnvironmentOffice or behavioral health facility; may come into contact with agitated or confused individuals.
