Weekend Rotation EOW
Holiday Requirements Travelers will work 75% of holidays Floating Requirements Sister units of 7N and 7S – All med-surg with same ratio/expectations.

Unit Details
  • Unit:
    Med/Surg
  • Beds: 36
  • Current Census:
    Approximately 33 patients/day
  • Patient Ratio:
    • RN: 1:6
    • LPN: 1:6
    • CNA: 1:9–12
Patient Population
  • General Medical/Surgical patients
  • Post-operative patients
  • Continuous Bladder Irrigation (CBI)
  • Bariatric patients
  • Hip surgeries
  • Trauma surgical patients
  • Bucks traction
  • Similar patient population to 7 South
Requirements Experience
  • Minimum 1 year Med/Surg experience required
  • First-time travelers not accepted
Certifications
  • BLS (Required)
  • ACLS (Required)
  • NIHSS (Required)
Required Skills
  • General Medical/Surgical patient care
  • Experience with CBI
  • Post-operative patient management

Floating
  • Required to float to sister units:
    • 7 North
    • 7 South
  • Similar Med/Surg patient populations, ratios, and expectations
Orientation
  • New Employee Orientation (Facility)
  • 2 Days Unit-Specific Orientation
Schedule
  • Shift: 12-Hour Days
  • Hours:

    7:00 AM – 7:30 PM
  • Guaranteed

    Hours:

    36 per week
  • Weekend Requirement:
    Every Other Weekend (EOW)

    None

    None
Holiday Requirement
  • Travelers are expected to work 75% of holidays during the assignment
