Where You Will Work 6 North Ortho‑Urology is a 36‑bed medical‑surgical unit. We care for adult patients from 18 to 100+ years old with a variety of diagnoses including general surgery, urology surgery, GI surgery, wound care, traumatic injuries, and traditional inpatient medicine. The team consists of RNs, LPNs, and NAs. This is a great unit to see a variety of diagnoses and solidify foundations of nursing skills.

• Greater than 1 year of RN experience (preferred)
• Completion of an accredited or approved nursing program
• Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which you practice
• Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association

• Play a pivotal role in providing and coordinating comprehensive patient care through the nursing process to deliver safe, therapeutic care in accordance with established standards, policies, and procedures.
• Use evidence‑based practice and clinical decision making, communicating compassionately while leading efforts to create the safest patient environment and the best patient experience across the continuum.
