Position: Registered Nurse (RN) - Medical ICU

Schedule Details/Additional Information
  • 3 12 hour shifts weekly
  • 7pm-7am
  • Weekend rotation

Pay Range: $38.20 - $57.30

Where You Will Work: The Medical Intensive Care Unit at High Point Medical Center is a 20 bed unit that provides exceptional care for patients who are critically ill. Nursing staff work alongside multiple providers and care teams, to implement a multi-disciplinary care team approach for patients and families. Skills and specialty equipment include advanced airway management, continuous renal replacement therapy, wound management, normothermia management, invasive hemodynamic monitoring, and titration of continuous infusion medication drips.

We’re

Looking For:
  • Completion of an accredited or approved program in nursing
  • Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which the teammate practices
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association
  • Greater than 1 year of RN experience

RNs with less than 1 year of RN experience, please apply to openings with "New Graduate RN" in the posting title.

What You’ll Do:
  • As a skilled and compassionate RN, you will play a pivotal role in providing and coordinating comprehensive patient care through the nursing process to deliver safe, therapeutic care in accordance with established standards, policies, and procedures.
  • Using evidence-based practice, clinical decision making, compassion, and skills communication while leading efforts to create the safest patient environment and the best patient experience across the continuum.
