Novant Health is seeking an ICU Nurse to work with a team that fosters growth, support and optimal care for both patients and team members. The Intensive Care/Critical Care Unit has 13 beds and an encouraging team environment.
Qualifications
- Education
:
High School Diploma or GED, required. 4‑Year/Bachelors Degree preferred. Graduate of an accredited nursing school required. - RN nursing license must be current and active in the appropriate state. If the license has been inactive, retired, or lapsed for five years or more and you have not been licensed elsewhere during that period, you must complete a Board‑approved refresher course and apply for reinstatement within one year of completion.
- Experience
:
One year relevant experience preferred. - Licensure/Certification
:
Current RN licensure in appropriate state, required.
Responsibilities
The Registered Nurse serves as a leader of the healthcare team by establishing authentic relationships with patients and their support systems, collaborating with physicians and other team members to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans that promote optimal health or support a peaceful death. The RN utilizes best scientific evidence and compassion to assist patients in navigating their health journeys, and accepts responsibility, authority, and accountability for the management and provision of care in accordance with current policies and procedures.
