Adjunct Clinical Instructor, Nursing; Pooled Position, South Campus

Job Description Summary

Candidates should demonstrate mastery of their discipline, a deep commitment to the college mission of fostering student success, achievement and persistence, technology competencies as well as teaching/counseling skills and strategies that facilitate 21st century literacies, and use of resources that prepare students for productive lives.

All schedules require office hours. Some may require evening and/or weekend hours.

• Clinical Teaching:
  Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required. Masters preferred. Unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in Florida. Minimum of 2 years of recent clinical practice experience.
• Didactic (Classroom) Teaching:
  Master’s degree or higher in Nursing (MSN, DNP, or PhD in Nursing) required. Unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in Florida. Minimum of 2 years of recent professional nursing experience.
• College-level teaching experience preferred.
• Medical/Surgical experience preferred.

• Clinical Teaching: $39.74 - $44.74 per hour.
• Didactic (Classroom) Teaching: $2,301.00 - $2,506.02 per month.
• May be eligible for additional compensation based on teaching load and supplemental assignments.
