37703 High Point Medical Center - Surgery Room. Full time, 40 hours per week. Day shift 0630.

Pay Range: $51.05 - $76.60 per hour.

High Point Medical Center, part of Atrium Health Wake Forest Baptist, is deeply rooted in the High Point community. Our 351‑bed hospital provides a wide range of patient‑ and family‑centered care backed by a nationally recognized academic medical center.

The Nurse Manager will provide operational and clinical leadership to support operating room efficiency, project execution, staff scheduling, budget management, and collaboration with staff and providers. This leader will oversee approximately 90 direct reports, fostering a high‑performing, team‑oriented surgical services environment. CNOR certification is strongly preferred.

• Graduation from an accredited School of Nursing; MSN or Master’s in a related field. Minimum six years nursing experience, including four years in healthcare management.
• Registered Nurse licensure from the applicable state. Required certifications:
  Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS);
  Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) within one year of hire for Adult Critical Care and Adult ED;
  Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) within one year of hire for Network ED, Peds ED, PICU, NICU and other unit guidelines.

• Provide leadership to staff, ensuring short‑ and long‑term goals are met through standards of performance and utilization of employee strengths.
• Coordinate nursing care with other healthcare disciplines and integrate services across the continuum of care.
• Promote a quality culture of safety, developing systems to monitor and measure quality, safety and outcomes, implementing performance improvement measures.
• Ensure privacy, confidentiality and security of patient information and facilitate resolution of conflicts.
• Participate in budget planning, workload measurement and resource allocation in partnership with the Director of Nursing.
• Support professional development and shared governance, fostering a respectful professional practice environment.
• Maintain competency related to specific patient populations and identify strategies to meet related needs.

Contact with patients, families, visitors and medical staff in a fast‑paced, dynamic setting with exposure to blood‑borne diseases, infections and contagions. Requires protective equipment at all times.
