0.75 FTE - 3 - 12 hour shifts 1 week and 2- 12 hour shifts the next week. Every Saturday and Sunday. Night shift .

Labor and Delivery – High Point Medical Center
Our Labor and Delivery is a specialized 10-bed unit featuring 6 labor and delivery suites, 3 triage rooms, and 1 recovery room. Our team provides compassionate, high-quality care for expectant mothers throughout the labor and delivery process, as well as evaluation and treatment for patients experiencing pregnancy-related concerns. We care for patients at 33 weeks gestation and beyond, supporting families through every stage of their childbirth journey in a safe and patient-centered environment.
We’re Looking For
- Graduate of a Board of Nursing–approved nursing program
- Active, unrestricted RN license (multi-state compact and/or state-specific based on practice location)
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Typically 1 year of clinical nursing experience
- Additional certifications or experience may be required based on specialty
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
What You’ll Do
- Deliver safe, patient-centered maternal care using the nursing process, clinical judgment, and evidence-based practices—monitoring conditions and adjusting care to achieve optimal outcomes for mothers and newborns.
- Collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary teams while promoting safety, quality, and accountability—maintaining documentation, supporting communication and delegation, and engaging in ongoing professional development and flexible patient care support.
