Job Summary

Are you a recent science graduate looking to launch your career with an industry leader? A Top-Tier Global Pharmaceutical Leader is seeking a Scientist 1 (Finished Product/Stability/In-Process Team) for a 1-year contract in High Point, NC. Working a standard first shift (8:00 AM - 5:00 PM), this entry-level role offers an exceptional footprint into the pharmaceutical industry, providing hands‑on experience with advanced analytical chemistry and compendial testing in a strict cGMP/cGLP environment.

Location: High Point, North Carolina
Job Type: Contract
Salary: $20 - 21 per hour
Work Hours: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Education: Bachelors

Responsibilities
  • Conduct routine chemical and physical testing of pharmaceutical raw materials, finished products, and stability samples.
  • Implement validated test methods utilizing spectroscopy, traditional wet chemistry, and chromatography to analyze product strength, identity, and impurities.
  • Recognize and report out‑of‑specification (OOS) or unexpected analytical results and assist in recommending solutions.
  • Document and record all experimental data and testing results accurately within prescribed laboratory data systems and procedures.
  • Maintain, clean, and troubleshoot analytical instrumentation while adhering strictly to SOPs, safety guidelines, and cGMP/cGLP regulations.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in a Science discipline (Chemistry or Biology strongly preferred).
  • Familiarity with common office software and basic exposure to chromatographic data acquisition systems.
  • Strong attention to detail, autonomous problem‑solving abilities, and excellent written/verbal communication skills.
  • No prior professional industry experience required—excellent opportunity for entry‑level candidates.
