Independent Footwear Sales Representative – Territory Sales Rep- NC, SC, TN

JAL & Associates is seeking an experienced independent footwear sales representative to represent a portfolio of premium comfort, wellness, recovery, and lifestyle footwear brands.

Position Overview

This is an independent contractor (1099) sales position responsible for developing and growing wholesale footwear sales within an established territory. The ideal candidate has strong relationships with specialty footwear retailers, comfort shoe stores, run specialty accounts, outdoor retailers, and independent footwear dealers.

Requirements
  • Minimum 5 years of footwear sales representative experience within the assigned territory
  • Existing relationships with independent footwear retailers
  • Proven track record of growing sales and opening new accounts
  • Strong organizational and follow-up skills
  • Ability to work independently and manage territory travel
  • Experience with comfort, wellness, orthopedic, run specialty, or lifestyle footwear preferred
Responsibilities
  • Maintain and grow existing retail accounts
  • Open new wholesale footwear accounts throughout the territory
  • Conduct in-store sales presentations and product clinics
  • Attend regional and national trade shows
  • Execute seasonal booking programs
  • Manage account follow-up, samples, and merchandising support
  • Provide market feedback and competitive intelligence
