Job Description
- To drive business development of protective coatings in Philippines through direct customers & distributors in high growth geography across the region.
- The candidate should bring new customers and manage existing customers.
- The candidate will be involved in business development along with collections and line trial.
- Responsible for delivering budgeted revenue & profit targets.
- Responsible for maintaining B2B & Distributors accounts.
- Responsible for development & expansion of geographical foot print to increase Protective Coatings market share in respective region.
- Handling product technical recommendations, coordinating with technical service on trials and complaints.
- Conducting regular training & promotional programs with the customers/dealers.
- Responsible for adhering business processes on time – Demand Planning & Forecasting, CRM, monthly reports etc.
- Ensuring strict compliance to Global and Local HSE Standards as per company policy.
- Drive Innovation through customers and develop relevant commercial pipeline for respective accounts.
- Drive continuous improvement across the organization to generate value to customers – Forecast, Service, Capability, Efficiency and Productivity.
- Effectively manage credits of customers & distributors by reducing the OD% & managing Bad debts.
- Screening customer base for new opportunities, generating leads, maintaining pipeline, identifying new potential customers and new market opportunities.
- Promote a positive company image and develop long-term relationship with the customers.
- Channel Partner management & drive business through distributor network.
- Build/maintain expert knowledge on the features/benefits of available products/services.
- Co-ordinating with Stake Holders & ensuring for On-Time deliveries to customers.
- Extending support to team members as & when required.
- Graduation in Mechanical/Chemical/Naval and Marine Engineering
- 5 to 7 years experience in B2B sales profile
- Experience in Sales preferably in Protective or Marine Coatings/Industrial Coatings/Industrial Adhesives/Industrial Lubricants/ Industrial Consumables.
- Should be able to grasp our core product & technology range in order to promote to customers. – Protective Coatings Product Portfolio & Market Knowledge
- Should be willing to travel and explore the untapped market potential
- Appropriate knowledge on HSE requirements and should be competent in HSE&S for the Sales role
- Good interpersonal skills
- Effective communication – both oral and written
- Self-motivated to challenge oneself and learn.
- Role based in Manila
