Role Summary
Business Development and Relationship Management in the oncology medical device services sector. The role focuses on driving revenue growth, maintaining existing accounts, and expanding the client base through strategic partnerships and market opportunities.
Key Responsibilities- Establish and maintain brand recognition within the territory.
- Lead market research and competitive analysis.
- Drive sales to support growth objectives.
- Support employee engagement and culture development.
- Create strategic partnerships throughout the oncology industry.
- Identify new marketing opportunities and revenue lines.
- Develop strategic accounts for large stakeholders, typically with annual revenues of $1M or more.
- Enable quick wins by leveraging Solutech assets and teams, focusing on customer satisfaction.
- Partner with clients to solve problems through Unique Value Propositions.
- Oversee relationships with GPOs and MSOs, including reporting requirements.
- Collaborate with the BD team on opportunities, especially where GPO/MSO engagement provides a strategic advantage.
- Support strategic accounts in closing new business and maintaining strong relationships.
- Analyze and deliver service performance reporting using Quarterly Business Reviews (Q ).
- Educate clients on new offerings, upsells, and cross‑sales.
- Meet sales targets and KPIs focus on service contracts and trusted advisor status.
- Prepare short‑term and long‑term account plans with decision makers.
- Present account progress, quotas, and goals to the SVP of Business Development.
- Forecast accurately within +/- 5% monthly.
- Support contract, proposal development, and presentation needs.
- Collaborate with Service Engineers to gather market intelligence and provide technical knowledge of linac technology.
- Work with Marketing to understand the Americas market and outperform competitors.
- Oversee implementation of the Client Engagement Model.
- Support development of future service offerings.
- Build and nurture industry relationships to keep Solutech “front of mind.”
- Sales target achievement with a 70% close rate.
- Minimum new business revenue goals for the territory.
- Maintain existing contracts through renewals with less than 5% attrition.
- Leverage Solutech technology for efficient operations.
- Use Salesforce to document, manage, and report on BD activities.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
- 5+ years of sales/marketing experience, preferably in radiation oncology or patient‑care services.
- Willingness to travel up to 50% of the time.
- Proficient in Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Salesforce.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift 50 pounds.
- Ability to stand for long periods.
- Ability to travel domestically for extended periods.
- Dexterous manipulation of small objects.
- Willingness to work standard and non‑standard hours as required.
