Responsibilities
- Actively hunt for new leads within your assigned territory through external networks and cold calling.
- Understand the communication and technology needs of small and mid-sized business customers.
- Develop new accounts and expand existing ones by establishing and nurturing long-term relationships.
- Utilize consultative selling skills to overcome objections and identify customer needs.
- Craft responses for Requests for Proposals (RFPs) and present beneficial products and services.
- Design and implement strategic initiatives to grow and retain revenue stream of assigned accounts.
- 2-5 years of outside sales and/or B2B sales experience, with a preference for outside telecommunications sales.
- Experience and knowledge in fiber broadband technology.
- Demonstrated ability to meet and/or exceed assigned sales targets.
- Strong ability to network and negotiate effectively.
- Must have a valid driver’s license with a satisfactory driving record and current auto insurance.
