Position Summary

We are seeking a motivated and customer-focused Outside & Inside Sales Representative to join our growing company specializing in commercial printing and transit fare media products. This position is responsible for developing new business opportunities, maintaining customer relationships, and supporting existing accounts for printed products, magnetic stripe tickets, RFID fare cards, smart transit media, and related revenue collection solutions.

The ideal candidate will have experience in sales, customer service, or printing-related industries and the ability to build long-term relationships with transit authorities, distributors, system integrators, municipalities, universities, parking operations, and commercial customers.

Key Responsibilities Outside Sales Duties
  • Develop and maintain new business opportunities within assigned territories
  • Conduct in-person customer visits, sales presentations, and product demonstrations
  • Identify customer requirements for commercial printing and transit fare media products
  • Promote magnetic stripe tickets, RFID cards, smart cards, thermal tickets, parking media, and custom printed products
  • Prepare quotations, proposals, and bid responses
  • Build relationships with transit agencies, OEM partners, distributors, and corporate accounts
  • Attend industry trade shows, conferences, and customer meetings
  • Meet or exceed monthly and annual sales goals
Inside Sales & Customer Service Duties
  • Respond to inbound customer inquiries via phone and email
  • Process customer orders and coordinate production schedules
  • Assist customers with specifications, artwork approvals, and delivery timelines
  • Coordinate with production, graphics, and shipping departments to ensure on-time delivery
  • Maintain CRM records, quotations, and account activity
  • Follow up on open quotes and repeat business opportunities
  • Support contract renewals and ongoing account management
Qualifications
  • 2+ years of sales or customer service experience preferred
  • Experience in commercial printing, fare media, ticketing, RFID products, labels, packaging, or related industries is preferred
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office and CRM software
  • Understanding of printing processes, materials, and customized production preferred
  • Valid driver’s license for outside sales activities
Preferred Skills
  • Knowledge of transit fare collection systems and fare media products
  • Experience with magnetic stripe encoding or RFID technologies
  • Strong prospecting, negotiation, and closing abilities
  • Self-motivated with strong organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
