The Vice President, Global Sales Operations is a strategic and operational leader responsible for driving sales and partner performance, scalability, and efficiency across Genesys. This role partners closely with Sales, Marketing, Finance, and Customer Success leadership to align execution with company growth initiatives while fostering a culture of innovation, accountability, and data-driven decision-making.
Key ResponsibilitiesLeadership and Organizational Excellence
- Lead and develop a high‑performing global sales operations function across regions.
- Establish clear operating rhythms and accountability models for sales and partner leadership.
- Foster a culture of data‑driven decision‑making, continuous improvement, and innovation.
- Serve as a trusted advisor to the Chief Sales Officer and executive leadership team.
- Deliver clear, concise, and insight‑driven executive communications including QBRs, forecasts, and board‑level narratives.
- Influence strategic decisions through compelling, data‑driven storytelling.
- Build frameworks to identify leading indicators across pipeline, forecasting, and deal qualification.
- Translate complex data into actionable insights that inform sales strategy and execution.
- Anticipate risks and opportunities early to enable proactive decision‑making.
- Drive inspection discipline at the deal level to ensure pipeline accuracy and forecast reliability.
- Partner with sales leadership on large, strategic deals to improve win rates and sales cycle efficiency.
- Implement scalable processes that balance operational consistency with field flexibility.
- Define and execute the vision for AI‑enabled sales operations including forecasting, activity insights, and deal scoring.
- Partner with Revenue Operations teams to modernize and optimize sales processes through automation.
- Demonstrate strategic thinking by connecting operational execution to broader business outcomes.
- Apply strong analytical rigor to synthesize data into actionable insights.
- Exhibit executive presence with clear, confident, and influential communication.
- Leverage deep operational expertise in SaaS sales motions, metrics, and pipeline management.
- Champion innovation through the use of AI and automation to drive productivity gains.
- Lead and scale high‑performing, distributed teams effectively.
- 10+ years of leadership experience in Sales or Revenue Operations within high‑growth environments.
- Proven success leading global teams and managing senior leaders.
- Strong familiarity with modern sales technology including CRM systems, forecasting tools, analytics platforms, and AI solutions.
- Track record of improving forecasting accuracy, pipeline health, partner performance, and sales productivity.
- Experience working directly with executive leadership and contributing to board‑level discussions.
- Collaborative mindset and strong bias for action across cross‑functional teams.
Market‑competitive salary with an anticipated base compensation range of $213,200 – $375,000 annually, potentially eligible for commission or performance‑based bonus opportunities.
