Bradley Professional is currently seeking a Regional Sales Manager for their client located in North Carolina
We are seeking a motivated and results-driven Regional Sales Manager to grow market share and strengthen customer relationships for our client throughout North Carolina, Upstate South Carolina, and Southern Virginia. This role is responsible for developing new business, expanding existing accounts, supporting dealer and distributor partners, and providing consultative transportation solutions to commercial, municipal, and fleet customers.
The ideal candidate is a relationship-focused sales professional with experience selling truck equipment, vocational vehicles, commercial transportation products, or other industrial equipment. This position requires a consultative sales approach, strong technical aptitude, and the ability to travel extensively throughout the assigned territory.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a strategic territory sales plan to achieve revenue and market share objectives.
- Identify and secure new business opportunities while growing existing customer relationships.
- Call on truck dealers, fleet managers, municipalities, utilities, contractors, distributors, and end users.
- Understand customer transportation needs and recommend the most effective truck body and equipment solutions.
- Build and maintain relationships with dealer partners and key decision-makers.
- Deliver product presentations, demonstrations, and technical consultations.
- Prepare quotations, negotiate pricing, and close profitable sales opportunities.
- Coordinate with engineering, operations, and customer service teams to ensure successful project execution.
- Maintain accurate sales forecasts, pipeline activity, and CRM records.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and customer feedback to identify growth opportunities.
- Represent the company at industry trade shows, customer events, and association meetings.
- Travel throughout North Carolina, Upstate South Carolina, and Southern Virginia to support customers and develop new business.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent sales experience.
- Three or more years of outside B2B sales experience.
- Experience in truck bodies, commercial vehicles, fleet equipment, heavy equipment, industrial products, manufacturing, or related industries preferred.
- Proven ability to develop new business and manage a sales territory.
- Strong consultative selling, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
- Technical aptitude with the ability to understand equipment specifications and customer applications.
- Self-motivated with excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and CRM software.
- Valid driver's license with the ability to travel extensively within the assigned territory.
