As a Security Officer Foot Patrol in High Point, NC
, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. Join a leading team where flexibility meets opportunity. Pay Rate: $17.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

Fri 04:30 PM - 11:00 PM / Sat 04:30 PM - 11:00 PM

What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to visitors, customers, and/or staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a retail location.
  • Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting relevant details and communicating with site contacts as needed.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the store, entrance areas, parking areas, and perimeter to help identify unusual activity and/or conditions that may need attention.
  • Monitor customer and employee traffic, observe for policy violations, and report suspicious behavior, theft-related concerns, and/or unauthorized access activity according to site procedures.
  • Support loss prevention awareness by maintaining a visible presence, assisting with access control and after-hours checks, and helping to deter unwanted activity through routine observation and reporting.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Have 2 or more years of security-related experience.
  • Be 21 or more years of age.
  • Be comfortable using a computer or tablet preferred.
  • Have customer service experience preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
