Provide customer service to employees, contractors, and visitors by carrying out access control procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a chemical manufacturing location;
Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials, manage visitor and vendor check-in processes, and document security-related activities in accordance with site requirements;
Respond to incidents, alarms, and unusual situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, communicating with site contacts and/or emergency personnel as needed;
Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and perimeter, observing for unauthorized access, equipment concerns, and other conditions that may require attention;
Support a secure environment through visible presence and strong communication
