Flight Test Instrumentation Technician

Responsibilities

• Implements airplane modifications per engineering drawings to support instrumentation installation, inspect, troubleshoot, test, and repair Instrumentation systems, including Sensors, Data Acquisition Systems,
• Experience using test instruments such as Oscilloscope, Spectrum Analyzer, Voltage/Resistance substitute standards.
• Performs sensor’s calibrations, and maintains records
• Diagnose and repair defective components using technical documentation such as blueprints, schematics, and wiring diagrams.
• Demonstrate expertise in wiring practices, modifications, and terminations.
• Perform pre- and post-flight checks of the aircraft Data Acquisition System.
• Operate tools and equipment safely and efficiently, maintaining compliance with company policies and safety standards.
• Keep work areas clean and organized.
• Must be able to travel as required up to 50%

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in aircraft wiring installation, repair, and Instrumentation
• A&P or related certification highly desirable; may be required for certain roles.

• Strong communication and computer proficiency; familiarity with Teamcenter is a plus.
• Ability to interpret wiring diagrams, blueprints, and schematics.
• Flexible with schedules and overtime; capable of working independently and prioritizing tasks.
• Solid understanding of aircraft systems.

• Lift, push, or move up to 50 lbs.
• Work indoors/outdoors in varying conditions; stand for up to 10 hours and climb ladders.
• Perform tasks in confined spaces or awkward positions.
• Follow management and safety instructions without restrictions.
