Lead Low Voltage Security Technician – Access Control & CCTV
Greensboro, NC
Join Next Level Technician as a Lead Low Voltage Security Technician in Greensboro, NC! Earn $25–$35/hr, enjoy weekly pay, benefits, and steady work with a national leader in low voltage staffing.
Responsibilities- Install, troubleshoot, and service access control systems including card readers, door hardware, electric strikes, and mag locks.
- Install door contacts, request-to-exit devices, and related hardware.
- Run, route, terminate, and label low voltage cabling (CAT5e/CAT6).
- Terminate and connect field devices back to control panels.
- Perform panel wiring and system connections.
- Install, configure, and troubleshoot CCTV camera systems.
- Assist with installation of network devices and wireless access points.
- Read and interpret blueprints, system layouts, and wiring diagrams.
- Troubleshoot system issues and perform service work as needed.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe job site.
- 2+ years of commercial security or low voltage installation experience.
- Experience with access control systems, CCTV, and structured cabling.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and system drawings.
- Strong troubleshooting skills and attention to detail.
- Reliable transportation and strong work ethic.
- Basic hand tools and PPE (hard hat, safety glasses, gloves, hi-vis vest, steel‑toe boots).
- Experience with systems such as Lenel, Genetec, Avigilon, Honeywell, or similar platforms.
- Experience configuring or programming access control and CCTV systems.
- Manufacturer certifications.
- Experience working in commercial, healthcare, or industrial environments.
- BICSI, OSHA, or lift certifications.
- Weekly pay.
