Position Overview

The Travel Plumbing Superintendent is responsible for managing all field operations related to plumbing system installation on construction projects.

• Coordinate and oversee plumbing system installation, ensuring timely delivery to job sites and precise field installation.
• Direct and manage all on-site field personnel, adjusting team size based on project requirements.
• Supervise subcontractor activities.
• Collaborate with the Project Manager to create, monitor, and adhere to schedules.
• Participate in all mandatory job site meetings for project updates and changes.
• Assist in the preparation and execution of project plans.
• Enforce and promote strict adherence to company and job site safety procedures.
• Conduct and document weekly safety "toolbox" talks.
• Maintain Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS) and ensure compliance with Hazard Communication regulations.
• Maintain effective communication with field personnel, including PM and stakeholders.
• Perform various personnel actions, including hiring, performance appraisals, promotions, transfers, and vacation schedules.
• Maintain and submit accurate as-built drawings and other documentation promptly.
• Inspect and submit reports on the condition of tools, equipment, and safety gear.
• Ensure the jobsite maintains a high standard of appearance, professionalism, and organization.
• Maintain and ensure company vehicle complies with manufacturer specifications.

• Experience:
  
  5 years as a Plumbing Superintendent on construction projects and at least 10 years of experience specifically with plumbing systems.
• Technical Expertise:
  Strong knowledge of plumbing system installation processes, techniques, and industry standards.

  Proven proficiency in management, safety protocols, and regulatory compliance.

  Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational abilities.
• Travel Availability:
  Willingness to travel extensively to project locations.
