The Multifamily Electrical Superintendent is a full‑time, on‑site role based in the Greensboro–Winston‑Salem–High Point Area. This role oversees electrical crews on multifamily construction projects, ensuring work is completed safely, correctly, and in alignment with project plans, specifications, and codes. Day‑to‑day responsibilities include coordinating labor and materials, managing schedules, supervising installations from rough‑in to trim, and conducting inspections to verify quality and compliance.
The superintendent works closely with project managers, general contractors, and other trades to resolve field issues, minimize delays, and maintain clear communication. The role also involves mentoring team members, enforcing safety standards, documenting project progress, and supporting accurate reporting and change management.
- Ability to lead and supervise field teams, with strong supervisory skills and experience managing crews on construction sites.
- Solid technical knowledge of electricity and electrical engineering principles relevant to multifamily building systems.
- Hands‑on experience in electrical contracting, including new construction installations and coordination with other trades.
- Proficiency in troubleshooting electrical issues in the field and resolving problems efficiently and safely.
- Thorough understanding of NEC and local electrical codes, safety regulations, and best practices for multifamily projects.
- Strong organizational, planning, and communication skills, with the ability to read and interpret blueprints and specifications.
- Previous experience as an electrical foreperson, superintendent, or lead on multifamily or large residential projects.
- Relevant certifications or licensure (e.g., journeyperson or master electrician) and a valid driver’s license.
