Johnston County Public Utilities Department is hiring a Water Plant Operator for a 12:00 AM to 12:00 PM shift. Requires ability to work every other weekend and holidays. Responsibilities include operating a wastewater treatment plant, analyzing water quality, and preparing state/federal reports.
Qualifications include a high school diploma with mechanical/plumbing coursework, a valid NC driver’s license, and Grade 1 Wastewater Operator certification (or ability to obtain within 12 months).
