Electronics & Automation Technician DIrect Hire
Hourly Pay: $30-$35
Hours 6am - 2:30pm (when needed / Saturday 6am-10am)

Pro Staffing is partnering with a well-established fabrication manufacturing company to identify an experienced Electronics & Automation Technician. What You'll DoAs a key member of the maintenance team, you will be responsible for keeping automated production equipment operating safely and efficiently.
Responsibilities include:- Diagnose and repair industrial electrical and automation equipment.
- Troubleshoot PLC-controlled machinery, HMIs, sensors, drives, and motor controls.
- Perform preventive and predictive maintenance to minimize downtime.
- Install, modify, and improve electrical control systems and automation equipment.
- Read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and control prints.
- Troubleshoot VFDs, relays, contractors, motors, control panels, and electrical components.
- Assist with equipment startups, system upgrades, and process improvements.
- Conduct root cause analysis and recommend long-term corrective actions.
- Document repairs and maintenance activities.
- Work closely with engineering, production, and maintenance teams to improve equipment reliability.
- Follow all electrical safety procedures, including Lockout/Tagout (LOTO).
- 7+ years of industrial electrical maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Experience troubleshooting PLC-based automated equipment.
- Working knowledge of industrial electrical systems, AC/DC circuits, motor controls, and power distribution.
- Experience with HMIs, VFDs, sensors, and industrial automation controls.
- Ability to read electrical schematics and troubleshoot complex electrical systems.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and excellent problem-solving skills.
- Commitment to safety and continuous improvement.
- Technical degree or industrial electrical certification is preferred but equivalent hands-on experience will be considered.
