Coaxial Cable Splicer – Network Evolution (3rd Shift

We're hiring experienced Coaxial Cable Splicers to support a major overnight Network Evolution project in the Greensboro, NC area. This is steady, ongoing work — not a short-term gig — with a goal of 50 splicers onboarded by November.

What you'll do:

• Perform coax splicing on feeder and distribution hardline cable
• Complete amplifier, line extender, node, and passive device replacements
• Execute network upgrades including node segmentation and cutovers
• Perform RF balancing and signal optimization
• Read and interpret system maps and engineering prints

What we offer:

• $32–40/hr, depending on experience
• Company truck and tools provided
• Frequent overtime
• 3rd shift schedule (typically 9 PM–7 AM, Sun–Thu, may vary by market)

Requirements:

• 3+ years of HFC maintenance or coaxial cable splicing experience
• Experience on live HFC broadband networks
• Ability to read system maps and engineering prints
• Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record
• Comfortable working independently overnight

Preferred: Charter Network Evolution experience, MSO background (Charter, Comcast, Cox, Altice, Mediacom), bucket truck cert, OSHA 10/30, CDL.
