Location:
Greensboro, Charlotte, and Raleigh, NC
We are seeking an experienced Electrical Foreman to lead commercial and industrial electrical projects. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated leader with strong technical knowledge and the ability to supervise field operations while maintaining quality, safety, and productivity.
Responsibilities- Supervise the installation, alteration, addition, and repair of electrical systems, conductors, equipment, and associated materials.
- Perform all duties of lower electrical classifications as needed.
- Work under the direction of the Superintendent and/or Field Operations Manager.
- Lead and direct Helpers, Electricians, Leadmen, and Area Foremen.
- Plan and lay out work in accordance with project schedules, drawings, and specifications.
- Develop short-term look-ahead schedules and pre-task plans.
- Maintain required project documentation, reports, and company forms.
- Track and submit daily project timesheets.
- Attend project meetings and coordinate with other trades, contractors, and owners.
- Evaluate crew performance, productivity, and work quality.
- 7+ years of commercial and/or industrial electrical experience.
- Strong leadership and supervisory experience.
- Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and specifications across multiple trades.
- Extensive knowledge of the current National Electrical Code (NEC).
- Journeyman License or State Electrical License preferred, but not required.
- Valid driver's license.
- Reliable transportation to and from job sites.
- Required hand tools (per company hire packet).
- Proficiency with electric, battery-powered, and manual electrical tools, including conduit benders and knockout cutters.
- Ability to operate company vehicles when required.
