The Low Voltage Technician is a full‑time, on‑site role located in Winston‑Salem, NC. This role is responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing low voltage landscape lighting systems for residential and commercial properties. Day‑to‑day tasks include running and terminating low voltage wiring, installing fixtures and transformers, performing system tests, and troubleshooting electrical issues. The technician will read and follow installation plans, ensure work meets safety and code standards, and communicate with team members and clients about project status.

The role also involves routine inspections, preventive maintenance, and accurate documentation of work performed.

• Strong foundation in Electricity and basic Electrical Engineering principles relevant to low voltage systems.
• Experience with Electrical Maintenance and working safely with Electrical Equipment used in installation and service.
• Proficient in Troubleshooting electrical and control issues in low voltage lighting systems.
• Ability to read and interpret wiring diagrams, installation plans, and manufacturer specifications.
• Comfort working outdoors in varying weather conditions and performing physical tasks such as lifting, digging, and ladder work.
• Attention to detail, safety‑focused mindset, and ability to follow company procedures and local codes.
• Effective communication skills and ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
• High school diploma or equivalent; prior experience in electrical, low voltage, or landscape lighting work is preferred.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation to job sites.
