Assistant Vice President

Responsibilities

• Maintain and monitor a post-trade processing platform for bond securities
• Support the US Rates & Credit Trading desk and operational users
• Design, develop, and enhance scalable enterprise applications
• Deploy and manage applications using Kubernetes in cloud environments
• Develop microservices using Spring Cloud, including:
  • Config Server
  • Service Discovery
  • Resilience4J
  • API Gateway
  • Distributed logging
• Design and manage databases using Oracle, PostgreSQL, and MySQL, including DDL and DML operations
• Build and integrate RESTful APIs and messaging systems using:
  • ActiveMQ
  • RabbitMQ
  • Apache Kafka
  • Apache Camel
• Develop Java enterprise applications using:
  • Spring Boot
  • Spring MVC
  • Spring JDBC
  • Spring Data JPA
  • Spring Security
  • JWT (JSON Web Tokens)
  • Hibernate/JPA (ORM)
• Improve application performance and scalability through caching and Spring Cloud optimization
• Build proof-of-concepts (POCs) to evaluate new features and software design approaches

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or a related field (or equivalent experience)
• Five years of progressively responsible experience in Java enterprise development, cloud-native applications, microservices, Kubernetes, messaging systems, and relational databases
