Sr AI Engineer; RAG Specialist Strong Python Skills

This role is on-site/hybrid in Raleigh, NC. The AI Engineer will develop cutting‑edge Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) solutions to transform how professionals work with information and insights.

• Test, evaluate, and implement RAG AI models.
• Apply prompt engineering and testing to deliver desired outcomes.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to integrate AI solutions into existing systems.
• Optimize and fine‑tune RAG models for performance, scalability, and cost efficiency.
• Conduct ongoing research on AI and machine learning advances.
• Design, build, and deploy agentic AI systems for autonomous planning, tool use, and multi‑step task execution using frameworks such as Lang Graph, Auto Gen, or CrewAI.
• Architect and deploy AI/ML and RAG solutions on AWS (Sage Maker, Bedrock, Lambda, S3).
• Write clean, efficient, maintainable Python code.
• Perform data preprocessing, feature engineering, and model evaluation.
• Troubleshoot and debug models in a mono‑repo environment.
• Document AI models, processes, and workflows.

• Proven experience as an AI Engineer or similar role.
• Strong proficiency in Python programming.
• Deep knowledge of RAG models.
• Hands‑on experience with prompt engineering.
• Experience with machine learning frameworks (Tensor Flow, PyTorch).
• Proficiency in data preprocessing and feature engineering.
• Experience building agentic AI applications (tool/calling, multi‑agent orchestration, autonomous workflow).
• Demonstrated experience with AWS services for AI/ML solution development and deployment.
• Excellent problem‑solving, attention to detail, and communication skills.

• Additional cloud platform experience (Azure, Google Cloud).
• Experience with agentic AI frameworks (Lang Chain, Lang Graph, Auto Gen, CrewAI, AWS Bedrock Agents, Model Context Protocol).
• AWS certifications (Machine Learning – Specialty or Solutions Architect).
• Knowledge of NLP techniques.
• Familiarity with version control (Git) and production deployment.
