Roadmaster Drivers School, a subdivision of Werner Enterprises, Inc., is a nationally accredited educational institution that provides the highest standard of professional training. We are seeking an experienced CDL Class A driver to train the next generation of commercial truck drivers.

- Demonstrate assigned driving operations for students on a regular basis.
- Oversee the safe operation and use of equipment by students, ensuring compliance with company policy and standards.
- Supervise all assigned trainees and complete necessary documentation for each person (attendance forms, training records).
- Provide in‑person daily instruction in full pre‑trip inspection, basic control skills and road driving.
- A valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with no more than two moving violations in a 12‑month period, or no more than three moving violations in a 24‑month period. Violations beyond these thresholds will be reviewed on a case‑by‑case basis.
- Minimum 3 years of over‑the‑road or local commercial driving experience, or minimum criteria required to obtain instructor licensure in the applicable jurisdiction.
- Must pass and continuously maintain a U.S. Department of Transportation (Use the "Apply for this Job" box below). and a DOT drug test and hair follicle drug test (HFT). Must agree to random and suspicion‑based drug and alcohol screening.
- Effective verbal, non‑verbal, and written communication skills.
- Physical, intellectual, and leadership ability to deliver company‑approved training and curriculum in classroom, full pre‑trip inspection, basic control skills, and road driving.
- Successfully complete all required new‑hire onboarding and training in a timely manner and continuing education as required by the company.
- Hourly pay range: $23.27 - $31.03 per hour, determined based on experience, skills, and qualifications.
