Medical Courier

Job Overview

A Courier position located in Burlington, NC. The role operates Monday through Friday from 9:30am to 6:00pm.

• Load all necessary supplies for daily pickups and complete the pickup schedule on time.
• Deliver all daily picks to the assigned branch at the end of each shift.
• Handle specimens and lab samples safely and efficiently.
• Operate the company vehicle safely and obey all traffic laws.
• Use a handheld electronic device to manage daily pickups.
• Coordinate with the dispatcher for additional pickups as needed.
• Evaluate traffic patterns, alternative routes, and weather conditions as required.
• Maintain punctuality, strong time‑management skills, attention to detail, and organizational skills.
• Lift up to 50lbs and solve customer‑related issues when they arise.
• Abide by all company policies and safety regulations.

• Minimum – No education or experience required.
• Preferred – High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent.
• Preferred – At least 1year of driver or courier experience.
• Preferred – At least 1year of customer service experience.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• Must be at least 21 years old.

• Employees working 20+ hours per week are eligible for medical, dental, vision, life, STD/LTD, 401(k), paid time off or flexible time off, tuition reimbursement, and employee stock purchase plan.
• Employees working less than 20 hours, plus casual, intern, and temporary staff, are eligible to participate in the 401(k) plan only.
