REPORTS TO:
Warehouse & Materials Supervisor
POSITION SCOPE:
The Warehouse Clerk is responsible for a variety of duties connected with the operations of the Logistics department.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES
- Ensure 100% error-free shipments and invoices.
- Ensure 100% scanning of product through all aspects of process.
- Ship material per customer release schedule.
- Adhere to First In, First Out (FIFO) standards.
- Complete necessary shipping papers & bills of lading with signatures.
- Assure proper identification of material before shipping.
- Make necessary shipping arrangements with trucking lines to fulfill customer requirements.
- Assist in inventory.
- Ensure all materials are kept in their designated storage area.
- Report any concerns regarding the organization of areas to your immediate supervisor.
- Follows instructions from supervisor to adapt to any short-term requirements.
- Load and unload trailers and trucks as required.
- Properly completes daily paperwork.
- Maintain turn around time for load / unloading trucks to no more than 1 hour.
- Maintain clean and orderly work area consistent with safety and work rules and regulations.
- Work safely around and/or while operating heavy equipment or manufacturing machinery.
- Work overtime hours as required and be available for emergency overtime when the need arises.
- Regularly report for work on time with a desire to perform to the best of your abilities.
- Comply with all company employment policies, procedures/processes, and programs. Performs duties in compliance quality, as well as safety policies, procedures/processes, and programs.

CERTIFICATION, EDUCATION, and
WORK EXPERIENCE:
Knowledge of basic math, reading, and writing. High School Diploma preferred. Basic computer skills. Forklift experience required.
