Position: Electrician (Kitchens and Bathrooms)

Electrical Technician – Kitchen and Bathroom Team

Salary: £44,819 + Excellent Benefits

Location: High Wycombe and Chesham with travel across Buckinghamshire, Bedfordshire and Hertfordshire

Hours: 42.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday

Contract: Permanent

Included: Van and fuel card provided for business use

We are now looking for an Electrical Technician to join our Kitchen and Bathroom Team. This is not just another electrician job. It is a role where your work directly improves the safety, comfort and quality of our customers’ homes.

About

The Role

This is a hands on role within our Direct Labour Organisation where you will see the impact of your work every day. You will be part of a specialist team delivering electrical installations and upgrades as part of our kitchen and bathroom refurbishment programmes. Whether you are self employed or already in a permanent role, this opportunity offers long term security and progression.

We will equip you with everything you need to succeed:

  • A fully equipped hybrid van with a fuel card
  • A tablet for scheduling and communication
  • A mobile phone, workwear and PPE
  • A supportive team and a financially strong organisation
Key Responsibilities
  • Mark out and chase for new sockets
  • Drill core holes for ventilation fans
  • Install and upgrade alarms including heat alarms and smoke alarms
  • Run trunking and containment
  • Wire ring and radial circuits
  • Connect and test installations
  • Complete certification to a high standard
  • Carry out consumer unit changes
  • Remove redundant circuits
  • Install lighting and bathroom fans
  • Second fix sockets and accessories
  • Assist the wider Kitchen & Bathroom team with support
Must Haves
  • Extensive experience in domestic electrical work including installation, fault finding, repairs and rewires
  • City and Guilds Level Two and Three or equivalent and Eighteenth Edition qualification
  • 2391 inspection & testing qualification
  • Strong knowledge of legislation and Codes of Practice
  • High level of literacy and numeracy
  • Ability to make informed decisions using initiative
  • Clear communication skills
  • Commitment to excellent customer service
  • Full valid UK manual driving licence

  • Experience working in social housing or similar environments
  • Familiarity with multi trade tasks alongside electrical work

Working Hours & Additional Pay
