AboutThe Role
You’ll work as part of a two‑person team installing and repairing windows and doors in our homes. Most of your work will be UPVC, but you’ll also work with aluminium, composite and wooden products. This is a hands‑on role where good customer service is just as important as technical skill. You’ll be working in residents’ homes, so being polite, tidy and respectful is essential.
WhatYou’ll Be Doing
- Installing and repairing UPVC, aluminium, composite and wooden windows and doors
- Measuring accurately and following installation plans
- Carrying out repairs to frames, hinges, locks and glazing
- Completing small carpentry repairs linked to doors and windows
- Working safely and following all health & safety rules
- Providing friendly, professional service to residents
- Travelling to different sites as required
- Experience fitting windows and doors (or relevant qualifications)
- Good knowledge of UPVC, aluminium, composite and wooden systems
- Able to measure accurately and follow drawings
- Experience repairing glazing and door systems
- Physically fit for daily manual work
- Good numeracy and basic IT skills
- Full UK manual driving licence
- Able to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong customer service skills
- Able to manage your time and workload
- Willing to join the out‑of‑hours rota
- Experience working in social housing
- Experience across different building types
- Strong organisation and flexibility
- Confidence with minor window repairs

- 08:00 - 17:30 Monday - Friday
