The Job:

As a Software Verification and Validation Engineer, you'll be part of our dynamic engineering team working as an on-site employee. The ideal candidate will be responsible for validating system designs, software, and electrical hardware to ensure seamless integration and optimal performance of our products. This role requires a strong background in systems engineering, hands-on validation experience, and the ability to collaborate across multidisciplinary teams.

Essential Job Functions

Design Validation:

* Review and analyze system designs to ensure compliance with requirements and standards.

* Develop and execute validation plans, test cases, and procedures for system-level integration.

* Identify and resolve design issues through root cause analysis and corrective actions.

Software Validation:

* Collaborate with software development teams to define software validation requirements.

* Develop and perform software integration and validation tests, including functional, regression, and performance testing.

* Document and track software defects, working closely with developers to ensure timely resolution.

Electrical Hardware Validation:

* Validate electrical hardware components and subsystems for functionality, reliability, and compliance.

* Design and implement test setups for hardware validation, including instrumentation and data acquisition.

* Analyze test results, generate validation reports, and recommend design improvements.

General Responsibilities:

* Work closely with cross-functional teams (mechanical, electrical, software) to ensure successful system integration.

* Maintain detailed documentation of validation activities, test results, and issues.

* Support product development lifecycle from concept through production launch.

* Stay current with industry standards, best practices, and emerging technologies.

The Person :

* Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Systems Engineering, or related field.

* 3+ years of experience in systems integration, validation, or related engineering roles.

* Strong knowledge of system design principles, software validation methodologies, and electrical hardware testing.

* Proficiency with validation tools and test equipment (e.g., oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, simulation software).

* Experience with requirements management and defect tracking tools.

* Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.

* Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.

Essential Skills & Experience

* Familiarity with industry standards and regulatory requirements (e.g., ISO, IEC, DO-178C, etc.).

* Programming or scripting experience (e.g., Python, C/C++, MATLAB).
