Accounts Receivable Specialist

We’re looking for a detail‑oriented and proactive Accounts Receivable Specialist to join a client's accounting team. This role is responsible for ensuring accurate, timely financial transactions, maintaining strong communication with customers and vendors, and supporting smooth day‑to‑day operations within the department. Key Responsibilities

• Manage and reconcile accounts receivable balances by following up with customers via phone and email.
• Post invoices and financial transactions into our ERP system.
• Research and resolve vendor statement discrepancies through calls, emails, and documentation review.
• Maintain vendor statements to ensure all invoices and payments are properly recorded.
• Collaborate with internal departments to resolve issues and support cross‑functional workflows.
• Perform ad hoc reconciliations and assist the Accounting Manager with special projects.
• Ensure compliance with GAAP and internal accounting policies.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Accounting or related field preferred.
• Minimum 1 year of accounting experience
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word

• Experience with accounting or ERP software.
• Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to meet deadlines.
• Excellent communication skills—both written and verbal.
• Self‑starter with the ability to take initiative and work independently when needed.
