STAFF ACCOUNTANT

A growing beverage company is seeking a Staff Accountant to support its Accounts Payable function and broader day-to-day accounting operations. This is a hands‑on role best suited for a detail‑oriented professional who's comfortable wearing multiple hats in a small‑to‑mid‑sized company environment, with room to grow as the organization scales.

• Support day‑to‑day accounting operations in line with GAAP
• Prepare journal entries and account reconciliations as part of month‑end close
• Process a high volume of vendor bills and maintain accurate vendor records
• Review employee expense reports for policy compliance
• Assist with external audits, providing schedules and documentation as needed
• Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes as the company grows
• Support special projects and other accounting tasks as assigned

• Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in accounting or finance
• 2-3 years of progressive accounting experience, ideally at a small‑to‑mid‑sized company
• Experience in wholesale, retail, distribution, or inventory‑driven businesses a strong plus
• Solid understanding of U.S. GAAP and general ledger accounting
• Hands‑on experience with month‑end close and reconciliations
• ERP system experience required (Net Suite or similar preferred)
• Intermediate Excel skills (pivot tables, lookups)
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple deadlines
• Comfortable working independently and as part of a lean team
• Clear communicator with a proactive, improvement‑minded approach
